A friendly and gentle class in the lovely yoga studio, Calm@Church Farm in Thurstaston, Wirral which has a lovely feel to it.
Together we will breathe, move, stretch, relax and meditate upon how the yogic elements of (earth, water, fire, air, space and light) weave their way through both our inner and outer lives, connecting us with own true nature, and reminding us that we are also a part of mother nature.
The class is gentle to intermediate session. It is usually a smallish yoga class with a community circle type feel, a place of sanctuary, rest and rejuvenation.
All are welcome, beginners and seasoned yogis alike. The intention is to create a warm nurturing safe space for gentle wind down, healing rest and rejuvenation, and connection, and there is also space for a little fun too. It's not about how bendy you are, but how open you are to learning what supports you on a physical, mental and emotional level whilst also being open to the infinite possibilities of what the spirit of life has to offer.
Jane works intuitively with the feel of the class, originally trained in Sivananda Yoga in India in 2004, she now blends the wisdom of her own experience into each of her classes. Sometimes the class will include a gentle warm up dance, which helps to let go of the day.
Calm@Church Farm is situated through the main car park, past the tall hedge on the left, then turn left up the track and into a second car park, and it is the wooden building to the right of that car park.
Please try to arrive on time so you receive the full benefits of the class, and we can create a beautiful sacred space together.
